I bought a jar of this stuff, I put 4 teaspoons into a cup(that's what it says)
and pour in low fat milk and heat. it's bloody lovely, but should it be avoided and be a once of thing? I think I heard it does not have alot of transfats like other drinks?

As hot chocolates go it's definitely a better one, but it's probably still a bit of a stretch of the imagination to call it healthy ;)

Drink it as a treat every so often and enjoy every delicious dark chocolatey scrummy mouthful :D

Next time, get the Cocoa, not the hot chocolate. Same lovely taste, but you can sweeten to your own taste, and use sweeteners rather than sugar if you like. Better value too, as you normally use one spoonful of cocoa rather than four of hot chocolate.

hmmm i was at war with myself over this one, greens or options? Greens requires milk (i only drink skim) and sugar or options which is more processed and has only 33-40 cals....... i usually favoured the latter but i often wondered which was "best"
    :p

Bourneville do a cocoa powder. Beware that it is bitter so a sweetnet could be used like eileen said

I tried that Canderel in coffee once I thought it was disgusting. But I will give it
    a go when I finish this one:D

That recipe would it be like eating a chocolate bar or not as bad?
just want to get a scale on how I should put it in my eating plans, as
I like drinking chocolate, but if it is not that healthy I will cut it down to a
special treat every week or 2 say.

Mix a spoonful of dry cocoa powder with a little milk, enough to make a smooth paste. Add sugar or sweetener if required. Pour hot milk over it and stir. That's it. Easy and very chocolately.

I make a sort of cheat chocolate sauce by mixing cocoa powder with some leftover coffee and a little sweetener, then add a spoonful to yogurt to jazz it up.

This is by far my favourite hot chocolate. lt's not the healthiest maybe, but it has less additives etc than Options, Cadbury's et al. Well worth the extra euro or two, imo.
