Wing is okay, Double-Oh was great. Haven't seen anything else, only the first episode of Turn A.

I first watched 00 and loved it, then reckoned I should go back and see where it all started, and I've watched 0079, Zeta and 08th.

So far "The 08th Mobile Suit Team" is the best I've seen. At 12 episodes long no one has any excuse not to watch it!

Saw Wing, SEED, SEED Destiny and 00.

While watching SEED I thought "this isn't as good as Wing". Then I went back and actually watched Wing again. It seems nostalgia had made me forgot how needlessly confusing it was.


Also, best ops of any Gundam series. Possibly.

08th MS Team, hands down.
Not long enough to spout enough technobabble & create massive plot holes, a slightly gritty take on war, likeable characters.

SEED was fine up until the point (ep. 26?) where they didn't bother killing Jesus Yamato, after which the plot started regurgitating itself until we were left with the sorry mess that was SEED Destiny. <_<
Also, too many fscking recap episodes!

Still have to finish Turn A, I heard it was... good.

Just watched War in the Pocket the other day, very good.

The fact that Bernie was a Zeek pilot was a great twist on things, showing their struggle for indipendance from the Feddies. Too bad the Kamfer got pumped full of holes by Alex in about 5 seconds, twas one cool suit

Wing, Seed and Seed Destiny are my favorites I only had 1 problem with Seed Destiny and that was Shin, I thought he was a whiney little cry-baby, I loved the new gundams and the battle scenes in it though.

I only like Wing and 00 really. Wing had Wing Zero, Heero Yui, Deathscythe and Duo Maxwell. 00 had Lockon Stratos.

Also the main characters in both of these weren't whiny teenage douchebags.

WTF, yes they were.

They didnt do any whining, infact they were more along the lines of emotionless soldiers, like Heero Yui with his whole not caring if he lived or died, nuking himself, snapping his leg back into place, hijacking several vehicles. Didn't even begin to show any emotion till towards the end. I don't recall him sulking at any point in that series. Maybe it's just the way most of the characters in Wing were fairly robotic in their personalities, save maybe Duo.

Kira or Shinn on the other hand? Yeah..

Setsuna didn't do a lot of whining. He was more of a traumatised child soldier. And he wasn't a teenager in season 2.

I love Gundam Wing. I haven't seen the others.
I'm quite confused over the rest of them.
I'm going to buy the complete set of Wing and rewatch them. Which Gundam series would you recommend next?

Anyone see the photos of the life size Gundam in Japan? A friend of mine went to see it and he said it was amazing.

Depending on what you liked about Wing Gundam, you should watch either Gundam SEED or Gundam 00.

Thats if you liked the bad bits, or the good bits respectively.

i have the models of the wing and 00 gundams 1/100 the wing gundams look bad the bodys are too small

but from the series wing was probable my favourite but all the mobile suits look like a guy in a costume
