I was wondering if anyone is using upc broadband with the router they provide for xbox live gaming because i was thinking of getting the 10 mb pack with free router but i want to know if it will be any good for playing online.

I currently have 3 broadband and connect my xbox to my laptop to connect but the 3 nat type is set to strict so i can't play with my friends without the connection dropping or the game glitching badly.

I mostly play halo 3 and cod4 online but haven't played in a while just from getting frustrated with my connection. So that's why i want to change to upc broadband. Any help you can give me would be great. Thanks in advance.

Have the 20 meg line myself. Absolutely no problems and never had to configure anything for Live to work.

I use ntl for xbox live. It works fine and is fast. The only thing is UPC say they don't officially support xbox consoles so if you do run into problems it's up to you to sort it.

Ive got their 3mb line and its great because it runs through the coax there isnt contention rates like you would have on a phone line. Havent had any problems with connecting which is good too. Fully reccomend
