www.evolvingsounds.com is pleased to announce what promises to be one of the events of summer 2009 @ The Think Tank / Temple Bar.

Hailing from Belfast, JAY KAY has been chipping away at the dance music scene for well over a decade now.
Having started his illustrious career in 1990 at Northern Ireland’s most influential House Club Kelly’s Portrush, Jay carved out his knish and developed his own sound. Within a short period of time he began to gain regular work at 2 of Ireland’s now legendary club’s of the time namely ‘Kilwaughter House’ Larne and ‘The Point’ in Donegal.
Fast forward to today and Jay has sinced moved on to feature regularly at some of UKs top clubs, and has recently returned from tours of Canada and Easterm Europe, and is also a regular at some of Ibiza's top clubs throughout the summer.
On the production front JAY KAY has worked his magic for artists such as The Shapeshifters, Seamus Haji, Mousse T, Oliver Lang, The Japanese Popstars, Reza, Chris Cargo, K-Klass & Peyton and many more.
In 2008 JAY gained global recognition with a string of massive releases, the cream of these being 'The Twist', and in May of this year had four of his tracks receive air play on Carl Cox’s infamous ‘Global’ Radio Show.
Having also been named Best Club DJ’ for 2007 & 2008 by Fate Magazine and with a string of top releases forthcoming, quite frankly JAY KAY is huge!

This is one not to miss guys, so hope to cya down there 26th June!!

    Quote from www.djdownload.com newsletter –
Jay Kay is one of Ireland's leading home grown DJ's. Last year he more than adequately proved what a hot production talent he was by making the number 1 spot in DJdownload's Top 100 best selling tracks with two consecutive singles. This time Jay covers the Lil' Louis classic 'French Kiss'. Aptly renamed 'Belfast Kiss'. Watch him carefully in 2009. This lad's going places.
