    Hi

Just wondering if anyone has a set of these, I have just purchased them on advise from my pro. He gave 2 clubs to try out and i throught they were excellent. I have seen a good few reviews and they all are very good. I got a great feel and the flight was amazing. Even when I felt I hit a poor shot I got a great connection. BTW I am a 19 HC.

    Cheers

What type of shafts did you get in them? Last time I had a set of Cobra irons, they made a cack in the UK factory, and put hi launch shafts into them. I was hitting 4 irons like 8 irons.
Thankfully they replaced the shafts and I got the ball flight I was looking for. Extremely forgiving irons. They've always made user friendly irons, even when Greg Norman endorsed their products.
Since Titleist took them over, Cobra irons are looking a lot more sleeker, yet still maintaining that level of forgiveness. I got from 18 down to 11 with mine, so all the best.

I have them and they are excellent, someone else posted asking about these last week. Very forgiving.
The shafts are high quality Nippon steel and they do hit the ball fairly high which isn't always a bad thing.

I have a set of nippon s3 shafts in my taylormade tp forged irons and I have to say I'm well impressed with them.

Got a second hand set on ebay a few months ago - graphite shafts, regular flex, nippon shafts and very pleased with them.

I wasn't comfortable going below a 7 iron with my old set but since I changed I take the 4 iron out of the bag without a second thought.
Playing off 20 at the moment (society handicap) and am actually getting close to playing to that on a good day.
Most of my bad days have nothing to do with my irons and far more to do with driver and putter.

Soft feel, flies off face, nice high ball flight and very forgiving.
Read all the reviews before I took the plunge and they were right - great clubs.
Also much longer now. Now taking a 9 iron where I used to hit a 7.
Some of that is an improvement in my swing but I definitely put a club length down to the S9s

And no i don't work for cobra :D

So good I even starting enviously eying the woods range
