    Hi all
i have a jailbroken iphone 16gb with 2.2.1 sofware which suddenly droped calls all the time and then eventually no service,i brought it back to the Carphone Warehouse where they sent it off for repair ? then i received a phone call from them saying they could not fix the phone and then told me that there is a number you can ring for Apple to collect the phone.

i wonder if they copped the jailbreak and refused to fix it?? do you think its worth the risk to send the phone to apple???

    anyone else have this problem

Dont send it to Apple or anywhere with it Jailbroken! The moment you alter the firmware Apple will throw your warranty in the bin.

Before doing anything, go into your carrier store and ask for a new SIM. Also, it could just be grease or something on the SIM card, give it a good wipe.
