some help with standalone DVD recorders need

    Hi,

    just looking for help with my current DVD recorder and with getting a new one

    1) Can any TOSHIBA RD-XS24 HDD Recorder owners confirm whether or not the the machine is compatible with Dual Layer DVD-R or Dual Layer DVD+R?

    2) Can anybody recommend an inexpensive but reliable DVD Recorder with Hard Drive and compatible with multiple formats, especially Dual Layer DVD-R and Dual Layer DVD+R

    I'm also looking for recommendation of online stores for Blank Media and storage cases in Europe (or the US/Canada if they ship fast to Europe). a site that accepts Paypal is preferred.

    I've tried the internet myself but the Recorder info is always incomplete (I would rather hear facts from actual owners) and I'd need to buy from multiple blank media sites to get what I need.
