Sky +/HD recording problem

    Hi

    Sky HD box is failing to record many programmes this past week. On planner the 'R' symbol appears behind the programme when it is on, but the red light on the front of the box doesn't come on.

    It's a 2.5 year old Thomson HD box.

    New card has not arrived.

    Any suggestions as to what is causing this problem?

    This is happening a lot on my pace box as well. Even to the extent that live pause, rewind etc doesn't work either. All i do is unplug the box leave it for a few minutes & plug it back in. Works grand then again for a few weeks before it starts happening again.
