I'm starting to play golf... I've acquired a set of irons from my mom... I also got a nice Mizuno 7 wood.

I'm looking to purchase a driver and a 5 wood.

How much will I have to spend? Where's the best place to look? I'd prefer not to spend to much as I'm only a beginner so I hope to upgrade in a few years when I understand more what I need...

Hope someone can help! Thanks :)

Any of the stores around Dublin. Where are you based?
You could try The Golf Wrehouse in Cherry Orchard Ind Est

Get yourself a 2nd hand hybrid... 22 degree = to a strong 4 iron. Easy to hit & more accurate than a ong iron. You can get 18 degree, 20, 22, 25 etc.

I use Cobra Bafflers. Extremely effective clubs. I've also had a Taylor Made Rescue but I prefer the Baffler.

Try Ebay for second hand clubs. Great bargain to be had. You should be able to pick up a 2nd hand hybrid for between €50 and €90.

The hybrid being suggested could be used in place of the 5 wood so you'd only need to add a driver. Take a look at golfbidder (i think its .co.uk) but google will tell you anyway they have a ladies section and you should be able to find something useful.
