Got my tickets for Fleetwood Mac, sooo excited! Feel so priviliged to see them again, didnt think they'd do another world tour!
Just wondering how popular they are amongst the younger population, Im 27 and they're my favourite band.
Was doing event security last time i saw them in San Diego in 2003,(Was one of the lucky ones who got to usher Stevie Nicks to her Limo, was unbelieveable!) almost all the crowd where over 40! Will i be the only one under 30 at the gig?

They are the ones who'd remember the real Fleetwood Mac with Peter Greene. ;) :P

Any time I have a conversation with a younger FM "fan", and I mention Peter Greene, they look at me in disbelief.

I saw him play a couple of years ago. The PG Fleetwood Mac was the only Fleetwood Mac.

I too am going and having seen them before can't wait for what will be a great concert. Peter Green was a great guitarist but is not in the same class as a writer/musician as Lindsey Buckingham. Without him there would be no rumours. But thats only my opinion and many millions of others.

Peter Green is a living legend and an incredible songwriter and musician. Lyndsey Buckingham is all that too. Both of them without equal in their fields. I'd recommend 'Lyndsey Buckingham with special guest Stevie Nicks' DVD.

Couldn't disagree with that but some people have never taken to Lindsey Buckingham yet this guy live is one of the most intense performers I have ever seen and I've seen a few. Very underrated and stylish guitarist. Great songwriterfor Fleetwood Mac and his solo efforts. Dave Fanning did a great interview with him a while back which is well worth the watch.
Buckingham's latest album Gift of Screws was released last year and I would recommend that to you. Two great performers its just a pity Green suffered with illness because who knows what he would have acheived.

I'd hazard a guess that there will be several pissed of FM fans who started reading this thread thinking they were coming back again until they discovered you dug up an old thread.
I for one, have read rumours of an original lineup tour and for a few seconds I thought this was the good news. Boo!

Start a new thread here for band promotion and avoid digging up old threads!
and im not even a mod :D

PS - sounds pretty good though.

Mac fleetwood are Irelands first Fleetwood Mac tribute band.

No you're not. I've two mates who've been in a Fleetwood Mac tribute band for five years... & now I've that damn "Fleetwood would, would Fleetwood" jingle stuck in my head.

But you do sound excellent. Would like to see some live video to make my mind up. Best of luck with it.
