    Hi,

Has anyone used or does use Ram wedges.

Iv seen 2 Ram zebra wedges on ebay that are pritty cheep & was thinken about giving them a go as the grooves on my lob wedge are dead but im not exactly flush in the cash department these days:D

Anyway just wondering if anyone has any views on them or any other cheep wedges that are good.

    Cheers

    Alan

    Hi Alan,

Im not sure of the price of the RAM wedges or your budget but last week in Mcguirks in Blanchardstown I got a Ping Lob Wedge (60 degrees) for 80 euros which I thought was a pretty good price.

Before that I was using a McGregor lob wedge that I bought for 50 euros in halpenny golf in airside. That was a good wedge too but it was quite worn so thats why I got the Ping.

If you are buying off Ebay just be careful as there are a lot of fake clubs out there and less than reputable sellers. Id recommend going through a golf store like the ones listed above to be honest.

You should take a look at MD wedges. They get great reviews and are pretty cheap, about 40 or 50 euros i think.I bought an MD lob wedge last year and find it very good.
