Just wanted to share my happyness with you, got one brand new, nice and shiny bike staring at me ;) Looks fantastic. There's nothing better than smell of never before used bike.

One thing bout the frame. Is it cover with protective foil or such ? Or does it look this way ?

    I love it :)

I think you may be referring to the Lacquer finish. This is a hard clear varnish like protective coating used to protect the paintwork or finish and is used in many different applications. However it is more noticeable on the Focus. It does give the downtube a more plasticy look compared to other carbon frames when you look closely at it. It looks like it may have been dipped rather than sprayed. I noticed this too. But I dont consider it a negative because the thicker the lacquer layer the better the scratch protection. Im very happy with this bike too.

Wiggle have updated their website regarding the Focus Cayo recently due to the number of queries regarding the Carbon finish on these bikes. Essentially they have a unique finish......
This year's Focus Cayo features a 'Raw' carbon finish exposing the natural woven finish of carbon, instead of last year's 12K cosmetic layer, so every Focus Cayo frame will have its own unique visible carbon finish. This can appear 'marble like' in certain areas of the frame depending on lighting conditions, this gives a natural beauty and individual finish to each Cayo frame.

Doesn't take away from the bike though, I still love mine

Didnt know that. So my earlier post applies to the 2008 Focus Cayo. They may have decided to change the finish due to the aforementioned plasticy look.
