    Can anyone steer (har har) me in the right direction....for a newish or new car between the 12-14k bracket. Which is likely to produce the best value for money, a dealer or private seller? Would like a golf, focus or corolla in that order. No fancy stuff required but needs to be sturdy for long journeys 2-3 times a month, city based mainly. I'd welcome your suggestions please? Also, is buying in the country eg. Donegal a better idea than Dublin?
