"Prestigious" careers of the future

Well a doctor, solicitor so on is kind of classed as one of those prestigious careers. Maybe 15 years ago getting a job in the bank was a great job to get. So what do you think will be the prestigious careers of the future.

I agree - some kind of Carbon Footprint Consultant etc... green is the only way to go...

I'd say genetics and biotechnology. Energy management and forensic accountancy to track all the flim-flam artists who fouled up our global economy.

Maybe a solicitor was a prestigious job once.
It isn't anymore!
And realy, many people look down on the profession these days.

To answer the OP, I'd say something in the green energy sector, something in engineering.
It's a growth area for sure
