O2 iPhone. BILLPAY VS PAYG

    Hi guys.

Since this tethering thing came about, I've been trying to figure out if and how I might be able to use my iPhone as my combined mobile phone and main internet device, and save some cash.

I assummed that switching to a monthly bill plan with O2 would offer me much cheaper data (Im currently PAYG). After checking at o2.ie, I found the monthly plans with O2 to be shockingly bad. (it would seem)

For someone like myself, who makes few calls or texts, and has moderate internet use (10 gigs a month max), it seems like the best they can offer me is a 45 quid per month plan which includes the 10 gig add on, and just a handfull of calls and texts, before being absolutely trashed on additional calls.
Seems like I might be best just sticking the odd tenner in my phone and trying to stay under 50mb a day.

    Am I missing something?

Thanks for any thoughts on this.
