    Hi All,

A Dolan Hercules SE was stolen on Wednesday 17th June in the Monkstown area in Dublin. The bike is easily identifiable with it's White, red and blue colours (see attached). The wheels are Gipiemme wheels with red tyres.

I have a reward of €150 out on this bike - as it took me ages to get it built up and is basicaly priceless as I need it for training.

Please do not buy this bike if it is seen for sale - it is the only one in Ireland with a custom paint job and you will be noticed!

The Gardai have been notified and I have posters out - fingers x'd!!

    Tks Ryaner,

P.S locking it to a roof bike rack is fruitless - they just yanked it off! Not sure what the insurance company will think!

Sorry to hear that, it's a nice bike - did I see it at the WW200?

    Yep that was me,

Only got the bike 6 weeks ago from Wicklow Cycles in Wicklow town - I have no idea what might become of the bike or where it will end up.

I have a Hercules myself but in the standard colours, that's why it stood out to me. Bummer. Hopefully it's distinctive enough that it'll turn up.

Are you doing the Cork200?Fancy paint job - maybe not a good idea! More stupid was leaving it unattented on a bike rack. Will have to wait 4 - 6 weeks to get a replacement ( if the insurance pays out).

I feel your pain. I really do. And I think I know what you'd like to do to the thief. My eyes are open. Best of luck.

So sorry to hear this. Might be worth dumping this thread soon in case the thief is lurking. Hopefully he might try and sell on Adverts, Buy and Sell Gumtree etc and you might nab him. Good story here a few weeks back where the thief was nabbed when he tried to sell stolen bike online. If you do quick search you will find it. Hope you have the serial number just in case they change paint job(highly unlikely that they are that sophisticated) Good luck
