Aer Lingus Name Change

    I booked a ticket for my sister and her children recently and filled all details in while she watched and all was fine. Got confirmation of her flight details and her surname has been changed to the same as her children's. (She doesn't use her partner's surname). I know I didn't make the mistake as I input the details because I have only known her by this name, I can only assume that it was autofilled as one child was to sit on her lap???


    I tried to ring Aer Lingus but their offices were closed but am thinking now there will be a huge charge to change her name for the return flight. Has this happened to anyone before and if so how was it rectified??
