i book g4 went dead after power cut

    hi all,
    was working on i book g4 yesterday- was almost fully charged and plugged in at the time . second power cut happened (not due to weather, lightening or anything- my thinking is it was power surge.. )
    totally dead since when i plugged back in after

    any experience of this , expensive ? worth it? it 4 years this august?any suggestions be great , thanks

    If its fried the logic board, it'll be very expensive - new Macbook time expensive. Try resetting the PMU - Go to the Apple support page, as different models have different ways to reset it.
    Have you got it on the house insurance? If so, thats probably your way forward
