I'd highly recommend Patsy Gallagher - PM me if you want his number, very patient and brill for new/nervous drivers. I've a full licence now thanks to him :D:D

Gay Devaney is very good, she has a very high pass rate of students. She is very "to the point" and fairly strict but she makes sure you wont forget anything.

PM me if you want her number.

Taylors are great. Me my bro and sister all passed first time with them.

Martin Cunningham (Cunningham School of Motoring, Calry). Thought he was an excellent instructor. Got both me and brother through the test first time. Would definitely recommend him.

Thirded! My husband, uncle, three of my workmates and myself all learned with them and they're great.

Whoever you go for should now be ADI accredited... their vehicle should show this, along with their reg number.

Thanks for all the answers. I'll give the names to my friend.
Boards is great for this kind of info, isn't it ?
I heard there's driving simulators out there now, like pilot ones. Anyone know anything about these ?
