    Hi guys,

This isn't my normal hang out spot but I need your help. I have an '03 Audi A4 with around 80,000 miles. Its in spotless condition and is blue but I haven't a clue what type of price to expect for private trade? Its a 1.6litre engine and was just serviced.

    Thanks,

    req

Petrol A4s don't really have alot of demand especially compared to the diesel versions. Cheap UK imports will not do resale values any good either. Though in saying all that the low tax and insurance costs of a 1.6 litre will appeal to someone I'm sure. Does it have a service history?

My guess would be that it should fetch around €7k in a private sale, depending on condition and service history.

+1 on all of the above.

Depending on the condition and colour etc., but for it to sell you'll have to have it priced well underneath the similar condition/mileage diesels.

1.6's do appeal to those who want the badge but not the experience. there will be a certain demand but hey its a buyer's market out there.

Thanks guys really appreciate the advice I actually thought I'd get more but given the current market I wanted a more realistic expectation. Thanks again
