monitoir display off centre

hope this is in the right place. my screen display is off centre by about two inchs to the left and the colours are gone a bit nuts too, what should be blue is a lovely orange-brown colour. can anyone help me to fix this please? thanks for any help

it was lcd. but is ok as now it seems to have gone completely and have got a new monitor. thanks anyway
