    Howdy,
Have just registered to run this and as it's my first race of any distance was just wondering how difficult/tough a course it is. Also, what kind of time should i be aiming for as the fastest 10k i have done in training is 48 mins. Thanks in advance.

The course is rather flat, the biggest "hill" is at the start/finish area. Nothing to worry about.

As for your time, that's impossible to predict for your first ever race, but expect to be moving a good few minutes faster than in training. Race day adrenaline is some amazing stuff!

I have done this race twice and its very enjoyable. Easiest 10k route I've completed anyway. The hill at the end is a bit of an energy sapper but adrenaline will get you up it no bother. A very friendly race I think. Im sad that I cant make it this year
