UPC/SKY

Been done to death but I'm still a bit confused. Can Sky use UPC's VOIP phone line to install and are there any circumstances under which Sky will install the service without the phone line?

It's a standard RJ11 input on the UPC cable mode, seems to be just a standard phone connected to it. The phone service on UPC hasn't been enabled so I can't check if any old phone equipment can get a dial tone. The service from the cable modem is VoIP though.

You can use UPC voip line on Sky. The modem uses a standard RJ11 connection. At the back of the modem there is 2 Jacks but only the one marked no1 works when the phoneline is enabled.

You only need a phoneline for sky where u want more than one box.
