Postgrad Study in Scotland FUNDING

I have finished a 5 year undergrad. Am broke from paying off student loans but I got offered a coveted place on a masters course in Scotland.

Does anyone know how to go about getting funding for it from the Dept of Education? They say no way. Embassies (all of them) said no, the consulate said no, the university said only for International students (not Irish students) and only for UK students. So we seem to get nothing?

I cannot afford the fees and I have two weeks to prove to the university that I have the cash. Where can I get funding!!!?

    Regards
