Unauthorised online credit card charging by hotel

    Hi guys,

Just wondering if anybody knows the particular law or where I may find it regarding unauthorised credit card charges?

A well-known hotel in Dublin has pleasantly charged me for the full price of my two night stay which will take place in september (and charged me the booking deposit the next day!!).

On both their site and their reservation confirmation email, it stated that ONLY the booking deposit would be charged and the rest payable at the hotel.

I await a call from the manager at 3pm.

It could be just an error on the processing side at the hotel.
Make sure you didnt got for a thing called "advanced purchasing" deal, means you get cheaper rates but chargable up front and no refund if cancelled. But in your case id say was just an error
