Seems Vino is having his Lance moment and Tyler might be riding the W200 in eight years:).

    From BikeRadar

Vinokourov, who had originally retired after the doping ban, has said he wants to launch a comeback later this year, preferably with Astana alongside Lance Armstrong and Alberto Contador.
"My dream would be to win the world championship and wear the rainbow jersey for my last year in 2010," he said last month.

Yeah, had read about his comeback a few times -he tried the old "if I retire, they'll halve my ban, then I can make a comeback earlier" trick, along with having a team that he can put an extraordinary amount of pressure on thanks to him being Kazakh

Have Astana paid up recently? I think Lance may take over the team so Vino won't be able to pull rank on that one

Yeah, they've paid most of what's owed, though I'd say they could be looking for an exit strategy shortly

They're still playing catchup with the money and missed another deadline yesterday. Between that and the Contator/Armstrong split, the team looks a mess.

Another one? Jaysus, the team is a right shambles... I'd say it'll be Lances by next year.

Even better was the way Contador and Valverde were like best mates in the Dauphine Libere. Looked like he was interviewing for the next team leader of Caisse d'Epargne. If Astana can't get the the cash together asap what are the chances that transfer could happen before July 4th? I wonder....

Can't remember where I read it now, but Contador seemed to admit that he was working for Valverde in the Dauphine. I think perhaps he'll need the favour repaid by CdE when the Tour comes around if he can't count on his own team.

There's been lots of talk about Contador actually moving to CdE since the winter, but it's getting a bit late for that now.

Agree. Do think Lance wants the team in is Livestrong name before the Tour starts and they will all have to wear BLACK socks :)
