Apple have announced a reduced rate update to Snow Leopard for systems bought after 8th June - but from what I can see it doesn't include Ireland.

Hopefully I'm wrong! Does anybody have any further info?

It does. You have to go to the Irish site. You can upgrade for €8.95.

How much roughly do you think it will cost if you dont qualify for the discount?

I haven't seen the euro prices anywhere yet. But the U.S. price is $29 for existing Leopard users — so about €25-30 for us, I guess. Pretty reasonable imo. Btw this will be an upgrade disc which I assume won't work unless Leopard is already installed.

It looks like Tiger users will have fork out for a "Mac Box Set" also containing iLife and iWork, costing significantly more, unless Apple make a full retail version available.
