Dublin - Israel

Looking for something from July 21st - July 23rd (Tues - Thurs)

    Have found:

Air France (over €1000 without counting Dublin - Paris)
BA (over €1000 without counting Dublin-London)
    Iberia (over €100 without Dublin-Madrid)
    KLM (€765 without Dublin-Dam)
Lufthansa seems to cost only €300 from Frankfurt if willing to leave previous Saturday, or return following Saturday.

Dublin-Gatwick-Paphos a possible option but times all over the place, prices stacking up, and seems to be difficult to find out about ferry connections from Cyprus-Israel.

Just wondering if anyone's ever got from Ireland to Israel on the cheap and if so how...cheers.

BMI do LHR to Ben Gurion as well, at least they did last year when I went. Don't have any idea as to their relative cost though.

I read somewhere that the cyprus to israel ferry has stopped due to the increase in trouble, I think it was blur star ferries??

BMI have just increased the number of flights to tel aviv and are pushing it quite heavily, that would be a nice easy through ticket from Dublin. I don't know if El Al are cheap or not, but flying with them is an experience and a half!!

An experience in a good way or a bad way?

So long as your good I'd not expect it to be bad. ;)

Leaving from Ben Gurion is a bit of an experience as well, but they are exceedingly efficient at all the security searches.
