I was in brussels last weekend but i did something very silly. i left something very important in charleroi airport.
i have been in touch with them and they have found what i left behind but are not willing to send it back and i have been onto fedex and they are qouting me a ridiculous price.

so... i'm loooking for someone with a kind heart, that will be in charleroi over the next while, to maybe pick it up for me from the lost and found.

it's nothing illegal or ropey, it's just one of them things that's poxy when you lose it. a kind reward will ensue for anyone that could help out

    thanks a lot..

i realise, in hindsight, that my initial post does look very suspicious so just to clarify.. the item in question is my wallet

How much did they quote you?

    Try DHL.

Hey, yeah it does suck when something like that happens.

The only suggestion i can make is there will be a few hundred Irish travelling to Rock Werchter, Belgium between 1st - 6th July. A lot of people tend to fly with Ryanair so will be travelling through Charleroi. Perhaps post in the threads below and you may get somebody who is willing to help you out! I'm flying with Aer Lingus so i won't be anywhere near Charleroi this year!

There is a big thread here on boards with all of us on this forum who are heading over.

There is also a Rock Werchter forum and again a big thread where all the Irish who are heading over are discussing it. It can be found here.

Common sense really, but if your wallet contents is of high value be careful. Retrieving it by these means is risky! Good luck

it was close to 70 quid
DHL wouldn't do it as there's cash in it and they won't touch it
