    Hello All,

    Can anyone that has the kids channels on UPC tell me if you get the "Disney Playhouse+" channel? This is the +25 min version of the regular Disney Playhouse?

    When I ordered it last week the girl told me they did have it but cannot confirm this on any sites or brochures etc. This is a potential showstopper for me as we can always flick whe something comes on that the kids do not like.

    Have had Sky+ w/HD for years now and just had enough now - the HD boxes are rubbish and its seems only viewing done is by the kids watching the Disney stuff. Cannot stick new EPG either and box has just got slower with it. All that we watch is downloaded to the PS3:D - The Wire, CSI, Sopranos etc etc.. so cannot pay Sky €100 P/M anymore and gonna just combine the phone, Internet and TV on UPC - get my 20Mb BB and download loads more stuff to watch!

    Funny thing is I have Sky out on Weds with new HD box and UPC due too... wanted my HD box replaced before I ditched them. Hope there isn't a scrap between the engineers....:o

    Go on... anything to say? UPC crap etc....:rolleyes:

    I had it for a while there was a Playhouse + as far as I can remember, taped a load of mickey mouse clubhouse onto my hdd recorder and got rid. Its a life saver as my daughter adores that show, handy manny isn't bad either.

    Thanks all for your help. Gonna take my 3 months half price and try them out then decide what to do with the TV services. Will have my 20Mb BB and €10 phone service so will give it a try.

    Playhouse is definitely a showstopper in my house. To the extent that we actually got both sky and upc installed in the new house. Then found playhouse on upc. Fortunately we were able to cancel the sky.

    No + though, but we do have about 40 episodes of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse recorded onto a hard disc recorder, so it's not like he'll be pining away!
