I dont want to buy a €600 rack.

Tbh if argos are out of your pricerange for cheap dumbbells then you won't have much hope anywhere else.

Irish Lifting really are your best bet tbh.

Don't get those dumbells, they're utter ****e. You'll soon get sick and tired of screwing that thing on and off.

And yes, they are the things you can get in Argos.

Argos is the cheapest you will probably get them, unless you find them second hand. You could just ask around, loads of lads I know got sets in their teens and they are just unused now.

The 50kg set is better, they just upped the price back to €100 though.

You can get quick release thingys for them. Screwing on and off is indeed a pain in the jacksy but the quick release things make them just fine.

The way i advise is spinlock for dumbbells, quick release collars for longer bars. The reason is that for dumbbell pullovers, seated french press or skullcrushers you do not want to rely on the little spring collar of the quick release when the weights are over your head/face...

Instead of setting up a new thread for a short question said I'd just awaken this thread.:D Anyone know where you can get spare spinlocks? Looked on ebay, etc.. and can't find any, just looking for two.
