So all of a sudden I have two weeks off !!!

I have finally got a full time job. (It's been a while coming) and I think a holiday would be great before I commit to my new job.

Does anyone have any suggestions where to go and do ?!? I am 24 years old and love meeting people, I may be able to grab one of my friends to come along too.

Does anyone have any idea's ?

What kind of holiday are you looking for? Beach, City break etc and what's your budget?

For my budget I would like to keep it to about 850

I was thinking about getting an internal inter rail pass for one country. Flying in on a cheap flight and going to a few spots, possibly Spain. I may be able to catch Sonar, though I will not know anyone there.

I am open to the idea of a package holiday but I would like to go somewhere that isn't a sea of tourists ( I will NEVER go back to Prague) Is this a cheap way to get a good holiday ?

Has anyone been to Ios ? I hear its become quite expensive

God if you think Prague is really touristy, I'd stay away from the package holidays....................

It sounds like you should go DIY and maybe book accommodation as you go so you have the flexibility to get out of places you don't like.

Personally haven't been to that many places in Spain but the North Coast is nice between Bilbao and San Sebastian, there's not many Irish or Uk tourists there, it's more where the Spanish themselves go for their hols.

    SuperstarHoney,
Have you stayed in the Vera Beach Club in Almeria, Andalucia? How far is from the airport?

    Thanks

The Aran Islands would be allright for a few days if you were on your own and if the weather forecast was ok.
