I have CS600 cycling computer for sale. Its only 6 months old and works perfectly. I have a speed sensor for it but no cadence. It also includes a brand new USB stick and the software you need to get it working on your PC... doesn't support MAC... which sucks.

The software is pretty awesome AFAIK for analyzing and planing your training.

It doesn't support GPS mapping to do that it would need a software upgrade and a GPS unit.

I'm selling cause I have gone to a watch version :-) ... part of being a runner as well as a cyclist.

Ah yes, its the EURO white version not the fake carbon looking one.

If it's the white one, does that mean it's the CS600x

Ah no :)... but you can upgrade it but that would cost £78 and need to go back to polar UK. You would then need to buy the GPS Unit G3 if you wanted mapping. The mapping is the only difference between the 600x and 600

The CS600x has double the memory, which is what I'm interested in rather than the mapping.

OK -- I know they replace the chipset but I don't know what that means. :D

I'm guessing that means the memory is upgraded too.

Hmmm. With the extra 78 lids, then it's not far off the price of a new one. Will have to think about it.

If you want the 600x -- I'd just buy new. You couldn't be 100% they would upgrade the memory. You must be a hardcore rider.... I mean if 278 hours isn't enough :). Are you planning a assault on Mark Beaumont's record?

Ah no. It's when you buy the power meter that you need the additional memory.

TBH, I wouldn't buy a Polar Power Meter which is the only choice with the CS600, which by most accounts sucks :). Hopefully one day they will upgrade the polar system to support a 2.4GHz set up. Unforunately Garmin seem better at sorting this out.

I guess I Probably wasn't cut out to sell stuff -- too honest.

Ah no, I'm just a flaky enough buyer.

I've read the reviews on Polar. Seems to be consistent but a little less accurate than the others. But I'm thinking of trading that for the flexibility.

How do you mean flexibility ?

Not needing to buy a specific wheel or crankset.

    Hi Scott,

Can you plot speed,hr,cadence and altitude together with the software or is it just speed/hr and can it log a few weeks worth of daily riding before transfer to PC?

I have a CS200 and would like to upgrade. Willing to offer €115 if it's compatible with the CS200 cadence/bike mounts.

Can collect tonight for quick sale.

    Thanks Scott,

I've looked it into and unfortunately the CS600 only works with the Polar W.I.N.D sensors and they are pricey b*stards.

It would cost me an extra €85 to get both bikes set-up and I'd be more inclined to buy a Garmin 500 new for ~ €225.

I know it's probably too low but if you could go to €80 i'll take it off you otherwise I'll have to opt out sorry.
