Art Nouveau tattoo

Hi, I'm planning my first tattoo, a large piece on my upper back as soon as I get the design worked out.
I'm not sure exactly what I want yet but I love Art Nouveau and the 1920's and want something surrounded by a fillagree whiplash border and maybe some poppies.
Here's some ideas I have: Alphonse Mucha Privat-Livemont Life Magazine cover
Who would be best suited in this country to do this sort of work?
I had a look through the Stickied portfolios here and nobody jumps out as being the most suitable, but then I'm a complete nOOb to tattooing... :p
I'd be willing to travel to the U.K. or even farther afield for the right artist.
I found this wonderful artist: kai Smart who I hope will be able to draw up the design for me as she specialises in Art Nouveau tattoos but she's in California so obviously I'd like if I can to find someone to do the tatt. a bit closer to home.
    Any ideas guys?

    Hey Greentopia,

your first two links, for Alphonse Mucha and Privat-Livemont were broken, they were just trying to link to files on your computer... ?

Gah! Sorry 'bout that, I fail at inserting links :(
I thought I could link from my saved files.
    I'll try again.
    The Alphonse Mucha and Privat-Livemont
    Hope they work.

In my opinion I think you'd want to look for an artist with a delicate style and experience at doing pinups. I can't think of anyone to wholeheartedly recommend in Ireland. Jani from Zulu would probably be the most suitable, though I would say, he is better at doing a full facial close-up style portrait tattoo as oppossed to a full body style tat. He would be worth considering.
You say you're willing to travel, I think thats a very good idea (and shows you have considered this, too many posts on here have a "who's the best tattoo artist for X thats 10 minutes drive from my house" feeling about them, but anyway...) take a look at http://pinuptattoos.blogspot.com/ , it might point you towards a great artist nearby. Keep us posted.

Thank's for the advice and the link, a quick look tells me the artists there are top class.
I'll look through the portfolios of the ones I like best.
I'll also take another look at Jani's work.
Yes I've spent the last year or so thinking about what I'd like to get done and now who I want to do the work. I want to match the right artist with the style I like.
There are at least 3 (that I know of) tattoo shops here in Arklow and I've checked some of them out, and I've seen some good work but not of the style I'm looking for.
From what I've seen looking on the 'net the artists whose work appeals most are mainly American and Canadian but I've by no means finished checking out the possibilities in the U.K. or Europe so I thought I'd try and get some ideas here.

And yes, I'll keep ya posted;)

    Here's another option:
www.thelondontattooconvention.com its prob one of the best tattoo conventions in Europe. Artists in attendence have to be invited to attend so its a very high standard. Was there last year and it was killer.
