So i was playing COD WAW multiplayer last night on my ps3 and when i had finished the game the screen that says "call of duty loading....." came up, as per usual, but then it just stays like that. I left it for ages but no change so I tried to turn off the console via the ps button and it takes about 10 mins. So then i started the PS3 and when i tried to play COD it said "an error has occured during the start operation. (80010514)" Sometimes it doesn't read the discs sometimes it does. I had thought I had already fixed the error by doing my network connection again but after one game of multiplayer it happened again and the error came up again. The error comes up for other games aswell. I cant find it on google and im not sure if it is a problem with call of duty or the Ps3.

oh snap! It looks that way alright , well i'll hold out for any more information/advice for another while, thanks for that f1ngers. BTW it's a 500gb drive, I heard this can cause problems sometimes because it has to run faster or something?

A few ppl have a 500GB HD, myself included. No probs so far.
    Is yours 5400rpm or 7200rpm?
I heard of some issues with the 7200rpm, running faster which led to overheating.

Same for me. Swapped out my 40GB for a Samsung 500GB.

yeah same happens with other games. The blu-ray driver must be phuqed because it played a normal dvd. I don't suppose any one knows an aul' home remedy for it, it costs a good bit to replace. Or do you think I will be able to cod Sony in to replacing it by using my friends receipt.
