The "Quads" Game

This is just a thought I had and I was wondering what others thought about it.

I play golf and during competitions a game called "2's" is usually played. This is where you pay a small fee (in our club 1.50) and if you score a 2 on any hole you receive a prize. Entry into this competition is completely optional and separate from the main competition. The amount of the prize is determined by taking the number of players who entered the competition and dividing it by the number of 2's. So say 60 people enter and 5 2's are scored each two is worth 18euro. If one person got a 2 on two different holes then he would get 36euro etc.

My idea was to do something similar in poker. Say a small entry fee is taken (say 2 euro, which is on top of reg and buy in so no effect on prize pool). Then anyone who makes quads receives a share in the prize fund. So say 10people enter and 2 people get quads they receive 10euro each. This could also be run as an aces cracked game or a full house game etc.

    What do people think?

    Regards
    Ian
