    anyone here involved in the pub business at the moment.A pub is for sale or lease in the midland area and i was thinking about having a look at it but the cost is huge...If you are to believe everything you hear this sector is badly affected by the recession..

    Have you had a look at the books yet?
    Is there a lot of competition in the area?

    People are definitely not going out as much and also as its in the country you have the problem of people not going out due to the lack of a decent transport system.

    What kind of money are they looking for.

    If it includes "key money" you can subtract that , thats pretty much gone but agents are still chancing their arm and asking for it.
