Health insurance card

Hey! Im heading off on hols this friday and completely forgot about travel health insurance until last week. I applied for the European Health Card (used to be the E11 form) last friday. Any idea how long this would take to be processed i.e. would i have it by end of this week?

I applied online and it took almost 2 weeks to get it. I think you can call to your local HSE and have a temporary form stamped which will do, there might be more info on the website.
