If Tipp make it to the Munster final, is there no way it will be played in Thurles?

Unforunately it's not likely. The only time a Munster final involving Tipp takes place in Thurles is when they're playing Cork, because of the rotational policy they have in place between the two. I doubt the Gaelic Grounds would get two finals in a row.....so that only leaves Pairc ui Chaoimh :(

I don't care about possible home advantage, Semple Stadium is the only place you should have a Munster final, regardless of whose involved. Hopefully the Munster Council will see sense and not have it in that dump in Cork.

What about the recently refurbished Fitzgeralds Stadium?

It's already confirmed on Munster GAA website. Thurles is the venue for the Munster Hurling Final. It's all to do with the 125 year anniversary thing. Apparently all munster games were to be held in semple but clare were the only county not to agree hence gaelic grounds next sunday. its on munster gaas website already under fixtures

You were defending Pairo ui Chaoimh only a couple of months back when I pointed out it was a complete ****hole and that the CCB should be ashamed. :p

Lol, I believe I said that at least the planned redevelopment of the place showed that the CCB were doing something about it.

I'll admit though that The Bankers post was a big eye-opener for me.
