I’m in the process of trying to get my large multi-national employer to implement the Cycle to Work Scheme, but of course the HR department is dragging their feet and making whining noises about the tiny possibility of more work

Their latest excuse is “but nobody else is doing it...”

So, what they’ve asked me for is some examples of companies who have implemented the scheme already. I was hoping that anybody who’s company has got the scheme up and running would be able to PM me with the company name so I can put together a list for them?
I don’t need much detail (maybe just a name and county?) since I don’t expect them to contact anybody, but if I could go back to them with long list of employers (especially larger companies, if possible) it would strengthen my case here a lot.

    Thanks in advance

You can tell them the public sector is doing it. That might be the biggest employer in the country.

Somebody on the Board has a list of companies / organisations in their signature that have implemented it, but I can't remember who.

I work for a large multinational and they have just rolled it out. They are partnering with www.biketowork.ie which seems to outsource a good bit of the administration, not sure where biketowork make their cut though.

They take a cut of the cost of the bike from the bike shop. The employer/employee pay nothing for the service.

Thanks for the resources everyone, this is really great stuff!

Let's hope that was the last excuse from them now!

The only problem is the bike shops are actually running out of bikes.
