    Has anyone ever used these?

I've amassed a fair few over the years and just checked what you can get and have to say, I'm not too impressed. Especially when you take the shipping costs into consideration.

    Boo-urns.

I have at least 70 I think. Haven't counted them in a long time. We should pool our points, have a raffle, winner gets the lot and then at least they could get a decent gig bag or something for relatively decent price (under €20.)

was actually gonna start a thread on this earlier, I've bucket loads of the things. It's a shame you can't trade them in against more strings.

    http://www.planetwaves.com/upload/Consumer_Rewards_Program_Form_update_5-8-09_15007.pdf

This details costs for freight outside of continental US, so you might be right.

    *EDIT

    from FAQ:
"Player's Points is available to all users of our products anywhere in the world. Please review our order form for shipping fees, and other information pertaining to orders received from outside the US. "

    HOWEVER:
"For strings and Rico products, we require that you send the full outer paper/cardboard packaging, displaying the point value (by UPC code). For Evans, Planet Waves, and HQ products the point values themselves can be cut from the packaging, and returned to us."

I've been tearing the part off that just has the players points on it, which if I understand correctly, leaves me with a grand total of somewhere in the region of 5 points.

    oops.

Apparently there are a substantial amount of players points in the recycling centre in Carrigaline.
