Burning pains

A friend of my mam is just over 8 months pregnant and she has started getting a burning feeling at the top of her stomach.I was just wondering does anybody know what is wrong or has anybody had this feeling before?Any help would be great thanks.

I'm sorry and I know you're concerned, but we can't entertain anything like medical advice on this forum so it has to be closed. It's likely nothing and when she gets to her doctor in the morning I'm sure her worries will be resolved.
