I want to build a projector screen for sitting room. Something that can roll down like a blind when being used.

I did a bit of research and it seems there are a few materials/fabrics that can be bought locally in fabric stores which would work quite well.

I now have a sony vpl ex1 which is a native 4:3 RATIO AT 1024X768

just wondering if any of you have some advice before i start. Anything to be wary of.

I would like some advice on size of fabric i should purchase considering my type of projector, Also if you know of the best cheapest fabric to be used.

Anyway just said i would ask before i go off spending cash.
    thanks,
    boggy

    Hi Boggy,

for the amount you're proposing to spend on paints, materials, set up etc, it's be almost easier just to buy a screen with the prices they are at the moment.

+1. Buy a cheap screen. 100 times better result without all the hassle.
