    OK - totally newbie question!

We just got a new TV up here in our house in the Wicklow mountains.

We just want RTE1, RTE2, TV3 and maybe some UK channels (BBC1, 2, UTV?)

Anyone know the cheapest way to get these? An aerial on the side of the house? Or some sort of satellite dish? (We have no cable in our area).

    Thanks in advance!

    Aerial for RTE1, 2 TV3 & TG4. The only free method.

Dish + Freesat box (or Sat4free or FTA) for BBC/ITV and about 30 other watchable channels in 200+ of dross, plus 70 radio. Legitimate and no subscription. see here.
