I don't hate the word, just the context it's misused in - Random.

Don't know if you can classify them as words but Filler sounds in sentences, like ah,uh,em, dya know, like - we're all guilty of it but still grinds my gears! :D

I hate when people add the word "gate" onto the end of a word to describe some sort of scandal.

Boundarylessness. Also +1 on going forward.

That too. But again, when it's used in the wrong context. "They're literally jumping out of their skins!"

    Pointless boardroom talk, very annoying.
    'Basically' needs a mention too.
and i absolutely hate hate hate 'and what not' at the end of a sentence. A phrase inarticulate yanks use a lot to make themselves sound smarter.

    "Guilty".

I really hate when they say that in court.

To be honest I feel that going forward we need to get all our ducks in a row to increase our bandwidth to enable us to move the goalposts vis-a-vis our target objective. Now is the time to ringfence the baseline for a win win situation at the coal-face.....

.....all of the above words annoy me

-when someone says "you have 2 choices" and then only lists 2 options.
-when an Irish person says "Ciao". Sorry it doesnt work here
-"playdate" irritates me , can kids not just play anymore

    Guesstimate.

And also when people add "-age" to the end of words ... e.g. "love-age", "dance-age" ... so irritating.

It is moronic. I heard somebody say 'inallandinnanyways' (sp?) recently.. ugh my ears :(

I hate it when people who use the word pretentious, don't know the meaning of the word pretentious. This happens quite a lot.

Apparently saying the word "can't" releases chemicals in the brain which make you think negatively, resulting in loss of confidence.

These words give me the creeps:
    Womb
    Fallopian
    Cluster

And I hate the words "pussy" and "cu nt" and most other nicknames for female genitalia.

Not two words strung together. That's just plain off topic IMO.

voluptuous is too regularly misused in modern life also.
Nowhere in the many dictionaries I have looked it up on include the word "fat."

Stupid Ennis/Clare slang. I hate all of it! Also using "sickened" or "delighted" as complete sentances. In internet terms, I hate n00b. Stupid word.

Oh and what a guy said up there about "fact". I don't mind it, but when people put other stuff after like fact of jihad or something...
