Guitarist available (Cork)

Hey there,

I'm 17 been playing guitar for about 4-5 years in total. Anyway, been having a lot of ideas for songs and stuff recently and I'm keen to start playing with other musicians and expanding ideas, even just for a bit of jamming, and to get a bit more experience playing with other people.

Would be up for getting in a band or even just playing with another guitarist or drummer or bassist etc. I'd consider myself to be fairly competant (if that's the right word) on guitar.

I'm a huge Iron Maiden fan, (and other stuff Thin Lizzy, UFO, AC/DC, lots of other stuff etc.) I'd love to be in a similar type of metal band "with a lot of melody" if you know what I mean, but to be honest I'd be up for trying anything hard-rock/metal out.

So, if anyone is looking for a guitarist, or would be up for a bit of jamming, let me know.

I like any music really my main influences would be rock, blues and classical. I would prefer to write our own songs rather then be a cover band but it really dosn't matter to me and i wouldn't mind being a covers band. Hey, 16 (17 within the next 2 weeks) year old bassist here and i am definatly interested in starting a band. Been playing for 2 years and i have been told by other bassists that im good. Based in the douglas area too so quite close by.

I'd defo be up for starting a band aswell, what sort of stuff would you be interested in playing?

Tbh i play anything but metal or drum and bass would be the ones i prefer. Once the rhythm is good and the others are open-minded im happy :-D

Personally, I'd be leaning towards the metal/hard-rock side of things, but at the moment just want to get playing with other musicians.
