Hoping to go somewhere warm and sunny for a week, what are Tenerife (Los Cristianos) and Gran Canaria (Puerto Rico) like - anybody been to either of these two in February?

Been to PR 5 times in Feb and have a mix of sun and cloud each time. TBH PR is a bit tacky now and needs to modernise itself. The other major problem with PR is the amount of timeshare touts and restaurant/bar touts. It's a major hassle all the time and the main reason I stopped going.
