Lease ending

    Hi folks,

Would appreciate your advice on this. The lease (12 month) on my appartment will expire at the end on this month. I have not yet been contacted by the letting agent regarding renewal of the tenancy agreement.

I intend leaving at the end of the tenancy. My question is... Am I still legally required to give 28 days notice, or can I leave at the end of the tenancy?

    Thanks in advance

You must give the notice set out by the PRTB.

As for renewing the lease, you have no real reason to do so. You are now covered under part 4 tenancy since you've been there more than 6 months.
