Game keeps minimizing

    Hi, i have a dell inspiron 6400 laptop.Lately when i try to play football manager 09 on it,the game keeps minimizing straight away,will just pop up for half second and minimize back to tray.It doesnt always happen. i have nothing else running on it and it still doesnt work. Whats causing this and how do i fix it?

    That used to happen in Teamfortress 2 a lot when you loaded it up. The only workaround I can think of is to resart the program, but sometimes if you just CTRL+ALT+DEL and enter the task manager and let the Task MAnager just sit there for a minute, it stops the popup problem because of the way TM sets itself as a priority one window.

    thanks for the reply but no that doesnt work either,world of warcraft keeps minimizing too.

    did you try to switch off norton antivirus before playing?

    sometimes it does help ;)
