Sources for restored red brick? Architectural salvage etc..

We're building a kitchen extension and I'd like to face it in old red brick.

Ideally, I don't want to use brick that is uniform in colour or size (within reason). I'd like shades of red.

I'm based in south Dublin and I've noticed that in areas such as Ranelagh and Rathmines, while the houses are usually built in a uniform red brick (in terms of size and colour), the walls and old stables were frequently built in brick that was more randomly chosen.

Is there any architectural salvage that specializes in this sort of thing.

Alternatively, what firms offer a good choice of brick that doesn't have that pristine 'new apartment' look?

    Many thanks.

    D.
